Everyone knows that Black Friday/ Cyber Monday are the best known days when looking for a good deal. That being said, Black Friday or Cyber Monday aren’t the only days you can save money online. Thankfully, if you are looking to save money, there are a variety of online deal websites that can help you get the best deal for just about any product you are looking for. Unfortunately, some of those “daily deal” websites are pretty scammy and you don’t want to be visiting sites that aren’t safe.

This is why we created this list to help you find good deals from reputable websites.

Take me straight to the list, enough jibber jabber!

With online shopping being so much easier than it was in the past, it’s no surprise that it continues to grow at an exponential rate. There is a reason that by 2019, it is estimated that there will be 224 million digital shoppers in the United States. There are numerous reasons that online shopping numbers continue to grow.

  • Ability to Shop 24/7

  • Ability to Compare Prices

  • Online Sales are better

  • Save Time

  • Greater product variety

  • Customer Reviews makes it easier to compare products

If you are like the millions of others who like to shop online you want to make sure you are being as safe as possible with your personal information. Below are some tips to keep in mind when shopping for good deals online.

5 Tips to Stay Safe When Shopping Online

  • Look for The Green lock Pad Lock to know it’s “Secure”. Look for the little padlock in the address bar or a URL that starts with “https” instead of “http,” as the “s” stands for “secure.” Some browsers will tell you it’s safe to give out your credit card by showing you a green address bar, while unprotected ones will be highlighted in red.
  • The Deal is Too Good to be True –  If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Avoid unbelievably hot “deals” from unknown merchants, such as someone selling a gaming laptop for $250.
  • Always have good anti-malware installed on your PC to help you catch threats like viruses or malware. (Example: Malwarebytes)
  • Use websites that you are familiar with or have good reputations such as Amazon and Home Depot
  • Don’t Shop on Public WiFi or a public computer. It’s always safer to shop on your own PC or phone.

Now, that you know why shopping online is awesome and how to do it safely, let’s get to the real reason your reading this post.
